Bambi is the 6th feature film of animation and the 5th " Traditional " studios Disney. Left in 1942, it is adapted novel of Felix Salten Bambi, the history of a life in the wood , published in 1923.
A " suite" entitled Bambi 2 left in 2006.
Synopsis
Bambi, a new-born fawn, learns, randomly of its walks, thousand-and-a things which are, for him, as many sources of amazement. be with the Fall, it discovers thus the Saison S with one and faces, for the very first time, the Hiver. Food being done rare, Bambi ventures one day with his/her mother in ground discovered. But of the hunters grind. Wounded with death, his/her mother begs it to put herself at the shelter. From now on orphan, our young friend must learn how to carry out has life alone. But soon, it meets Side-Side, a small astute rabbit, which teaches quantity of things to him, including patinating on a cold pond. Together, they know multiple adventures…

According to David Smith, this film was approached by the Disney organizers in a way much more serious than preceding films and short films putting in scene animals. In order to increase realism, they had to attend conferences of animalist experts and to carry out many locations with the Zoo of Los Angeles, close neighbor of the Disney studios
