Bamba
Bamba is a city Malian, in the circle of Bourem and the area of Gao. It is located on bank of the river Niger, to 190 km of Tombouctou and 230 km of Gao.
The commune of Bamba gathers 19 villages and 7 fractions (wandering populations) on a surface of 8.100 km ². In 1998, the population of the commune was approximately 27.000 inhabitants, primarily of Songhaïs but also of the Touaregs and Bozos.
