Balsamine of wood

The Balsamine of wood ( Impatiens noli-tangere ), still called impatience -me-touch-not is an annual herbaceous plant (20-80 cm) of the family of the Balsaminaceae.

This species owes its name with the strong reactivity of its fruit to the touch. The ripe capsule explodes when one wants to seize it and can project seeds with several meters!
