Balneal Tourism

The balneal tourism , it is tourism of the holidays at the seaside.

It constitutes the most widespread form of Tourisme in the world. The coast, the beach, the sea and the sun are undeniable attractions for the tourists. Moreover balneal tourism is the first appeared tourist form. In France, the first sea bathings were inaugurated in 1824 with Dieppe by the duchess of Berry.

The ministry for Tourism in France prefers to use the denomination littoral tourism , in order not to include only the seaside resorts, but also the cities a little more in the grounds.
