Ballodrome
The ballodrome (in Dutch: kaatsbaan ) is the ground on which one plays Balle winds into a ball.
It is usually located on the place of the village or in front of the square of the church.
The ballodrome consists of two joined surfaces of play, the little game (or rectangle) and the big game (or trapezoid). The ballodrome, as juniors (juniors formerly) and adults, has a length of 72m. The lines of the goatskin bottles and short are perpendicular to the axis of the ballodrome, which divides this one into two equal and symmetrical parts.
The play is provided with a sieve, i.e. of a rectangular surface traced in the axis of the ballodrome, being five meters long and three meters broad and of which one of the widths merges with the line of the goatskin bottles of the trapezoid. The surface of service is supplemented, beyond the line of the goatskin bottles, by a two depth space minimum meters, without given width. All the lines delimiting the ballodrome and the sieve are of white color or clear color, of a uniform width of 5 centimetres. All measurements of the ballodrome are taken internally.
