Ball Packaging Europe
Ball Packaging Europe is the European division of the group Ball Corporation specialized in the boxes drink (or Canette S).
Birth of European division
Ball Packaging Europe was established in Europe at the end of 2002 following the repurchase of the company Schmalbach-Lubeca by the company of Emballage American Ball Corporation which then became largest producing of limp of drink in the world.
Establishment
Twelve production units located near the customers in Germany, France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Poland and Serbia/Montenegro ensure the company a presence extended as well on the traditional market of Western Europe as on the areas of Eastern Europe and south to the growing economy. Ball Packaging is present in France through two factories located at Bierne (meadows of Dunkirk) and with Ciotat (meadows of Marseilles).

The two French factories manufacture boxes drinks of 33cl intended to contain soda, fruit juice, beers, etc…

- 2002 Schmalbach Lubeca becomes Ball Packaging Europe and Continental Edge France becomes Ball Packaging Europe Bierne.
- April 2007 Ball Packaging Europe Bierne reaches the figure record of 30 billion limp produced since its origin.
Product
The factory of Bierne is a mono factory produces. It manufactures only the body of the boxes drink of a capacity of steel 33cl.
