Balearic Islands

The Balearic Islands (in Castilian Islas Balearic Islands , in Catalan the illes Balears/the illes Balears I Pitiüses/Illes , officially Illes Balears ) are a autonomous community of the Spain. It is about a Archipel located in Mediterranean which includes/understands 5 island S principal: Majorque (Mallorca), Minorque (Menorca), Ibiza (Eivissa), Formentera and Will pull up like some small islands.

The Catalan is the Co-official language with the Castillan, the local alternative of the Catalan being the Baléare.

History

The Balearic Islands were controlled by the Carthaginois before passing under the domination Romaine. The critical of the Balearic Islands represented a unit famous and frequently employed Antiquity. Economy

The archipelago of the Balearic Islands accommodates each year approximately ten million tourists, including German 20%. The latter invest in second home which becomes then places of retreat for a part of them.
