Baldassare Longhena
Baldassare Longhena is a Venetian Architecte of the 17th century. It is born in 1598 and dies in 1682.
In 1631, it begins the construction of the church of Salute to Venice. The church was set up to thank the Virgin for having put an end to the terrible plague of 1630. It will be completed only in 1687. Two of the frontages of Scuola Grande dei Carmini were built according to its drawings. It moves in the palate Ca' Rezzonico, always with Venice in 1667.
