Baldéric Ier
Baldéric 1st was bishop of Liege of 955 with 959. He was elected against the royal will. He was elected thanks to his uncle, the bishop Baldéric of Utrecht. He becomes also Abbé of Lobbes.
Into 959, Lotharingie is divided into two: high Lotharingie (Lorraine) and Low Lotharingie (Lothier). Liege east belongs to Low Lotharingie and joined the episcopal sees of Cambrai and Utrecht.
