Baharestan
Baharestan is the name given to the building of the Parliament of Iran, the Majlis , inaugurated in 1906 during the constitutional Révolution of Iran.
The name comes from the district Teheran board surrounding it, as of the palate which existed there.
Baharestan was used by the Lower House of the Parliament (the senate having moved with the downtown area of Teheran) until the Iranian Révolution. After the revolution, the Parliament became unicaméral, gathering with the building of the old senate. In 2004, he moved in a new building in the district of Baharestan.
