Bagh-nakha
The Bagh-nakha (or wagnak ), “ claws of tiger ”, is one of the Armes of Corps to favorite bodies of the Marathe S. It consists of steel claws fixed at the hand, sometimes by means of a glove.
It is the weapon used by Shivaji, at the time of their interview of the November 10th 1659, to assassinate Afzal Khan, the general that Aurangzeb had sent to subject it.
