Badwater Ultramarathon
The ultramarathon of Badwater (Badwater Ultramarathon) is described by its organizers like the " the hardest race on foot with the monde". It is a race of Ultrafond of 135 mile (217 km), beginner with 85 meters with the lower part of the sea level in the basin of Badwater, located in the Vallée of dead the in California, and finishing at an altitude of 2548 m in Whitney Portal, at the top of the Mont Whitney.
This race proceeds generally at least July, when the climatic conditions are most extreme, with temperatures frequently exceeding the 49°C in the shade. Few ultramarathoniens is able to cross the finishing line.
