Badoit
Badoit is a mark of mineral Water naturally gas belonging to the group Agroalimentaire French Danone, division Eaux .
Its source is at Saint-Galmier in the department of the the Loire.

1837, Auguste Badoit , 36 years old, obtains the Fermage source Fontfort located at Saint-Galmier with the top of the plain of Forez.

1845, to avoid competition, Auguste Badoit buys other sources which will bear its name.

1848, the lease of the Fontfort source is not renewed. Decision to forsake hydrotherapy and to market Badoit out of bottle.
