Bad Gastein

Bad Gastein is an Austrian city being located in the Land of Salzburg, it also acts of a Winter sports resort. The charm of this village, built during the Beautiful Time, is its harmony with the environment. Its station combines relieving and fresh air of the mountains, from where the presence of a Thermal spa which guarantees to the tourists a true stay of back in shape.

The station was a headlight place at one time when middle-class kings and rich person cotoyaient themselves there, such as the empress Elisabeth de Wittelsbach or the Germanic emperor Frederic-Guillaume Ier of Prussia. Since the years 1960, the station has lost its superb one but tries for a few years to reverse this tendency by improving the infrastructures considerably related to the ski.

The station belongs to the Espace Salzburg Amadé Sport World.

The city regularly accommodates international competitions of which the world cup of Alpine skiing.
