Backstreet Boys

Backstreet Boys is a group of pop American (Florida) assembled in 1993. The Boys band was composed in an original manner of Nickolas Gene Casing, Brian Thomas Littrell, Alexander James “A.J.” Mc Lean, Howard “Howie D.” Dorough and Kevin Scott Richardson, which left the group. They sold more than 100 million albums throughout the world and gained a phenomenal number of prices in the industry of the music. Backstreet servant boys are now regarded as being best the servant boys band (male vocal pop group) of all times. Their style of music was a source of inspiration for other groups which were formed with their continuation, such as the *NSYNC and Five, like with the singer Britney Spears.

History

Beginnings

Brian Thomas Littrel and Kevin Scott Richardson, cousins, begin in the choral societies from the area from their birthplace from Lexington, in the Kentucky. They start to occur on local scenes. When in Howard Dorough, Alexander James McClean and Nicholas Gene Casing, they have already a solid experiment in the show business (musical comedies, pubs, small roles with the cinema or on television). They live all the three with Orlando, in Florida and end up sympathizing by cross in hearings and, in the case of Howie and Alexander James, in a box: " Latin Carnival ". They decide to form a trio, at this point in time certain Lou Pearlman (cousin of Art Garfunkel) hears of them and proposes to them to sign on its new label Continental Trans Records. It helps them to supplement the group: via friends, he discovers Kevin, which tired nothing to find in Kentucky, left to settle in Orlando where he works with Disney World disguised in Tortue ninja! Packed by the proposal, Kevin is impressed when he hears AJ, Howie and Nick to sing has cappella. And as the group is in the search of a fifth element, Kevin contacts at once his/her Brian cousin who is in full course of history to the college! It accepts and leaves as soon as possible for Orlando… In 1993, the group was born… It must now choose a name: " Backstreet" its name of famous a is due Flea market of Orlando where meet the young people, and " Boys" like the great American groups (Beach Boys, Boyz II Men…)

They beat a record by selling 765.000 tickets for their round of 2000-2001 in less than one hour.

The pause

After the Black & Blue turn in 2002, Backstreet Boys decide to make a pause (not a separation as certain imply it) so that each one can be devoted to its own projects. Marriage and family for some: Brian marries the actress, Leighanne Wallace, which it met on the turning of the clip " Ace long ace you coils me" , the couple gives birth to a boy, Baylee Waylee Thomas Littrell. Kevin makes in the same way by marrying his/her partner of long time, Kirstin. Solos projects for others: Nick leaves in 2001 an album entitled " Now gold Never " and A.J occurs under pseudo Johnny No Name . Howie, as for him, is devoted to the foundation which it created in homage to one of his sisters deceased of a lupus.

During 2 years, the group does not undertake any major project if it is not the exit a Best album off " Greatest Hits - Chapter One" with nevertheless a new " Drowning" , initially recorded for the album " Black & Blue".

The return

In 2005, Backstreet servant boys leave new a opus, the album " Never gone" whose success is phenomenal. He then undertake a round spread out over 2 years (2005 -2006), which leads them in some 60 cities to the the United States, with the Canada, in Europe, South Asia, Australia and finally with the Japan. In parallel, Brian Littrell leaves an album solo Welcome Home only composed of Christian songs.

June 25th, 2006, Kevin Richardson leaves the group.

Nick Casing, in 2006, was with the poster of an emission of TV-reality House off Casings which tells its life with the daily newspaper, in company of his/her brothers and sisters.

Backstreet Boys, moreover, were used as springboard with the launching of the musical career of Aaron Carter, little brother of Nick Carter.

In 2007, they are of return with a new album " Unbreakable"

Former members

Kevin Scott Richarson

His wife gave rise to small Mason on July 3rd, 2007 with 4:56. Kevin would have actually left the group in order to be devoted to its new role of father. However, a recent interview with Alexander James (A.J.) can let accept the fans that Kevin would like to perhaps launch out in a career solo.

Next achievements

The BSB finished their new album entirely recorded in Nashville (the USA). The 1st individual one is planned for August 2007 and is entitled Inconsolable . As for the album Unbreakable it is planned for on October 30th, 2007.
