Back Home is an album of Eric Clapton left at the end of August 2005.

Presentation

With 12 songs, 5 written by Eric Clapton with the assistance of Simon Climie, Back Home also includes/understands " Coils Comes To Everyone " of George Harrison, " Coils Don' T Love Nobody " Spinners, a resumption of Stevie Wonder and Syreeta Wright " I' m Going Left " as well as pieces of Vince Gill, Doyle Bramhall II, amongst other things.

Produced by Eric Clapton and Simon Climie, which composed the first individual " together; Revolution" , Back Home calls upon good number of artists, those which intensely worked with Eric Clapton with the passing of years (Steve Gadd, Nathan East, Andy Fairweather Low, Doyle Bramhall II, Billy Preston and Simon Climie).

Among the " Guest star s" : Steve Winwood, John Mayer, Robert Randolph, Chris Stainton, Stephen Marley, Abe Laboriel Jr., Pino Paladino and Toby Baker, with arrangements of cords of Nick Ingman and a participation of Kick Horns.

The title " Back Home" appeared during the process of composition and of recording explains Clapton, " one of the first reflections which I had on myself was during “Journeyman” in the Eighties. This album supplements the cycle of this process which describes me like an itinerant musician and such as I am now, with a family. This is why I chose this title. Ca speaks to return to the house and to remain " there; before adding, while laughing, " but I will be again of exit the next year to play this music ".
