Babacar Niang
Babacar Niang (1930 - 2007) is a politician Senegal board. It was the leader of the Parti for the release the people (PLP).
Biography
Born with Kaolack on September 28th, 1930, Me Babacar Niang began its studies with Dakar. It continued them with the Sorbonne, then with the National school of the taxes of Paris.Initially near to the professor Sheik Anta Diop, it leaves the democratic national Rassemblement (RND) and launches its own party, the Parti for the release the people (PLP), officially created on August 31st, 1983.
Candidate with the presidential election of 1988, it collects 8.449 votes, that is to say 0,75% of the votes cast.
He presents himself again to the presidential election of 1993, being classified in eighth and last position with 10.450 votes, is 0,81%. It is deceased on July 11th, 2007, at the 77 years age.
