B 82500

The B 82500 are motorized of the SNCF, specialized with the traffic FOR THE THIRD TIME. It is about the dual-mode version (electric and diesel) and bicourant (1,5 Kv continuous and 25 Kv-50 Hz single-phase current) of AGC of Bombardier, also named BGC or Bibi (for dual-mode-bicourant ).

With the difference of B 81500, the B 82500 have the capacity to circulate on all the lines of the French rail network with standard spacing. Indeed, these trains can circulate as well on the lines electrified in 1,5 Kv continuous or 25 Kv-50 Hz single-phase current as on the not-electrified lines.

The first lines to be profited from this material are: Paris/Troyes/Culmont and Culmont/Saint-Dizier/Vitry as from on Tuesday, October 9 2007.
