BWB ( Brown-Whalum-Braun ) is a American Supergroupe of Smooth jazz composed of the guitarist Norman Brown, the saxophonist Kirk Whalum and the trumpet player Rick Braun. To date the trio left only one album, in 2002, " Groovin ", on which one finds as guests of the singers like Dee Dee Bridgewater or Cassandra Wilson as well as musicians like the double bass player Christian McBride, the beater Gregory Hutchinson or the clavierist Ricky Peterson. This album is only made up of recoveries jazzy standards of the Soul and Funk. Since one could see the trio reforming in a momentary way on the albums of his members.
