BR-101

BR-101 , also called Translittorale, is a longitudinal federal road Brésil. It begins in the town of Touros Rio Grande C Norte, and finishes with São Jose C Norte, Rio Grande C Sul. It crosses the States of the Rio Grande C Norte, of the Paraíba, the Pernambouc, dl' Alagoas, of the Sergipe, Bahia, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, of the Paraná, Santa Catarina and the Rio Grande C Sul.

All its course carries also the official designation of Rodovia Governador Mário Covas.

It follows the Northern direction - Suld on practically all the littoral is Brazilian, of the Rio Grande C Norte at the Rio Grande C Sul. Two of its sections are not built yet, between Peruíbe (São Paulo) and Iguape (São Paulo), and between Cananéia (São Paulo) and Garuva (Santa Catarina). It is with double track between Palhoça (Santa Catarina) and Osório (Rio Grande C Sul).

It of the most important Brazilian roads, left one the Pan-American Highway.
