Geography

The Né takes its source with Voulgézac close to Blanzac to a Altitude of 105 meters. It separates the Charente from the Charente-Maritime on 18 km and joined Charente upstream of Port-of-Lily commune of Merpins. Its slope is weak and the floodplains formed marshes which it is question of reinstalling like buffer zone of the floods
