BM72

BM72 one of the two types of electric multiple units is used by the railway company NSB for the traffic of suburbs with Oslo on Jærbanen and between Stavanger and Sandnes. It was bought as a next generation of suburban trains to replace some of the old oars BM69. The introduction of this oar began in 2002.

A train BM72 is composed in four cases (oar quadricaisses). The windows of BM72 consiédareblement widened compared to those of the oars BM69 . Each of the 36 oars were conceived by AnsaldoBreda.
