BM70

BM70 is a multiple unit electric Norwegian used by the company of the rail NSB for the average distances to the neighborhoods of Oslo. They are used in particular on the lines Dovrebanen between Oslo and Lillehammer, on Vestfoldbanen and Gjøvikbanen .

BM70 were déliverées like trains InterCity Express in 1992 and took their service at a very high cost. The bright burning coal-new machines were used as trains Agenda (term NSB for the services at average distances). Some of the departures served by BM70 are made very at the time of mornings tôts ( oœil-red ), services used by people having a long way to make to Oslo. So a section " silencieuse" on train is installed, where the portable and the conversations with high voice are prohibited.

In all, 16 BM70 were built, and all are still in service today. The originators were Duewag, ADtranz and Vst. Sundland.
