The province of Tarragone is a Province located at the North-East of the Spain and the south of the Catalogne. It is surrounded by the Mediterranean, the Province of Castellón, the Province of Teruel, the Province of Saragossa, the Province of Lleida and the Province of Barcelona.

The capital of the province names Tarragone. The province counted in 2002, 631.156 inhabitants of which approximately 20 percent lived in the town of Tarragone.
