BFM

BFM (for Business FM) is a private radio French created in 1992 with Paris by Jacques Abergel and Rene Tendron. This station is a Radio of economic information . BFM belongs to the group NextRadioTV since 2002. It is on this date that it becomes BFM, the Radio of Eco.

Since November 28th, 2005, BFM TV is in place on TNT in France. The programs Radios and TV are however different and specific to the two antennas.

In Belgium

In Belgium since 1994, BFM diffuses the majority of the emissions which the listeners of France listen to. But, lasting certain hours 7:00 - 10h & 16:30 - 19h, the radio transmits programs conceived by a Belgian team whose Charles Van Dievort is editor association.

May 2007: The Belgian station separates from Contact Group, due to the removal of the group towards RTL House. Today BFM Belgium is independent of any group. The 100% of the capital are held by Alain Mahaux (Businessman & President of BFM Belgium).

As for the logo of BFM Belgium there remained the same one since the beginning of the years 2000, the Groupe Contact considering the new logo (style RMC information) a little too ugly.
