The Berliner Fußballclub Dynamo , in summary BFC Dynamo , is a German club of Football founded in 1966 and based with Berlin.
Club
At the time of GDR, the Berlin Dynamo was one of the most prestigious clubs of the country, with in particular a series of ten consecutive championships between 1979 and 1988.The BFC Dynamo, like all the East-German clubs called Dynamo , belonged until 1989 to the SV Dynamo, which was in the beginning the sports association of the police force and the ministry for the interior, but which then absorbed the sports association of the Stasi (the political police, which constituted another ministry). This was worth with the BFC Dynamo the nickname of “club of Stasi” and explains why, in spite of its many successes, the club did not enjoy a great popularity, being, in this field, exceeded in East Berlin by FC Union. The Dynamo was also shown to gain its matches with the assistance of referees handled by the authorities, inter alia irregularities.
If 1966 are regarded as the year of the foundation of the club, it is because on this date, the BFC Dynamo is separated from the SV Dynamo and becomes a club with whole share. But it is in fact only the successor of the section football of the SV Dynamo, which was born in 1954 when all the team first of the Dynamo Dresden was transferred to Berlin, a typical decision of the East-German system.
Since the German reunification, Dynamo (famous FC Berlin between 1991 and 1999 with an aim of drawing a feature on its bonds with the police force) did nothing but be inserted in lower divisions until in Verbandsliga (the fifth division) because of problems financier. The team first however went up in Oberliga (the fourth division).
Stage
The stage of the Dynamo, located in the east of Berlin, is the Sportforum Hohenschönhausen, one of greatest sports complexes of Europe, since, in addition to the football stadium equipped with a track of athletics, it comprises inter alia a cycle-racing track, a swimming pool, a room of athletics, a skating rink (where the Eisbären evolve/move, champions of Germany) or a ring of speed skating.
