Bétazoïde

The Bétazoïdes are, in the universe of fiction of Star Trek , a species Extraterrestre originating in the Planet Betazed.

Physiology

Outside, Bétazoïdes form the species humanoïde nearest to the Humains that they met during their expansion. In fact, they are physically indistinguishable, if they are not their eyes with the always black iris.

Bétazoïdes are naturally telepathic, the majority developing this gift lasting adolescence. Rare are those which are born with this immediately operational capacity.
