Béduer

Béduer is a common French, located in the department of the Lot and the area the Midday-Pyrenees.

Geography

History

Old possession of the family of Lostanges, dominated a time all the territory between Lot and That and competed with the Abbaye of Figeac.

The pilgrimage of Compostelle

On the Via Podiensis of the Pilgrimage of Saint-Jacques-to-Compostelle. One comes from Figeac.

Some jacquets joined Gréalou and its church, Notre-Dame of the Assumption, and reached banks of the Lot to Cajarc.

Others followed the course of the That until its junction with the Batch, and passed by Espagnac-Holy-Eulalie and its convent.

The Castle of Barasc

Perched on a slope, it is a Romance Donjon of the 12th century, very restored, remains castle of the family of Barasc whose member, Géraud V, was bishop of Cahors of 1237 with 1250.
