Bästard
Bästard is a French rock group Bruitiste and Expérimental originating in Lyon formed in 1993 on ashes of Deity Guns (1989-1993 and one album, Trans-Lines Appointment produces by Lee Ranaldo of Sonic Youth in 1992), Bästard will stop in 1997. The group will reform at the time of a single concert for the 20 years of the concert hall the modern Confort with Poitiers, in 2005.
Influenced by the No wave and Sonic Youth in particular, but also by the industrial Music, the Music bruitist and the Jazz improvised, Bästard appears (with Ulan Bator, Sister Iodine, Prohibition, Heliogabale…) like one of the headlight groups of the French rock'n'roll underground of the Years 1990, opening the voice with the Post-rock'n'roll and influencing many hexagonal groups.
