History of the principality
During the apogee of the Empire moghol, Bânsvâra was one of its vassal, then it passes under the control of the marathes. In 1812, dissatisfied with the situation of its state under this administration, its leader requires the protection of the Britanniques, which will be guaranteed by a treaty signed in 1818 in exchange of an interference in the businesses of its state.The state of Kushalgârh was vassal of Bânsvâra.
The principality was integrated into the state of the the Rajasthan.
