Azuma Kagami

LAzuma Kagami (Japanese: 吾妻鏡, also 東鑑) is a Chronique Shogunat de Kamakura of 1180 with 1266 which describes day after day in the shape of a newspaper the events of this period. Compiled after this date under the directive of the Shikken and written in kanbun , an old form of Chinese, this work capital for the knowledge of this period was incomprehensible for the majority of the Japanese until an edition in furigana is published in 1626.

The period covered by Azuma Kagami covers the Guerre of Gempei and part of the Shogunat de Kamakura.

Astronomy

Azuma Kagami mentions several astronomical events , of which the Supernova of 1181 of which it is the only one to give an indication of the luminosity and color.
