Azraël
Azraël (rear RTL عزرائیل) is the name of the angel of the Mort in the biblical traditions and ic Coran.
Moslem tradition
Azraël is described like a servant of God (Al). In the myth of the last Judgment Moslem, whose archangel Israfel will announce the day of the Résurrection deaths into blowing in the core, Azraël will be the last survivor of all the creatures (angels, demons, human,…), after having killed Djibril, Mikaël and Israfel. Then it itself will be carried out by God. After the death of Azraël, God remains alone in his own universe.
The prophet of Islam, Mahomet, said that the pain felt by Azraël at the time of its death is sufficient to kill all the creatures that Al created. In the account of sound voyage to the seventh heaven, Mahomet describes the true face of Azraël: it has legs being in the seventh ground and its head under the throne of God is located at the seventh heaven. It is created starting from the fury of God.
Concerning the methods that Azraël uses to extract the heart they can be different, certain are described in Coran (Sourate Year-Naziâat), they are adapted to the person according to whether this one is or not malfaisante during its life.
The prophet Mahomet says that this archangel is surrounded by several angels which help it to extract the hearts (of human, of the animals or same hearts of the angels themselves and the demons). There is a large tree whose sheets comprise the names of all the human ones; when the date of died somebody approaches his sheet becomes yellow and fall, Azraël includes/understands whereas it is a dead man. When the hour of death arrives the angels start to extract the heart starting from the nerves and of its flesh while starting with the feet then while going up towards the abdomen; they grant a little rest to dying then start again so that the heart comes to the chest and then with the throat; at this time dying it starts to whirr (it is said that it is the whirr of died), then dying it starts to see what occurs in the other world (“You remained indifferent to that. And well, We take off your veil; your sight is piercing aujourd'hui." Sourate Qaf-Verses 22), since it cannot speak any more and thus reveal what occurs. It can only grimacer (to smile, sourciller, to be frightened if it is malfaisant).
