Azov

Edgar Ray Killen (1925, the United States -) took part in the murder, with the the Mississippi in June 1964, of three young militants for the civic right , Michael Schwerner, Andrew Goodman and James Chaney. Its lawsuit makes cuff in North America, because Killen, old of 80 years and former head of the Ku Klux Klan, is recognized guilty murder 41 years after they occurred.

This event gave rise to the film the Mississippi Burning .
