To the opening of the Door, which marked the advent of the era of chaos, Azeroth was the most powerful nation Humaine. Its sovereign was right and good, and a light of truth emanated from the Kingdom of Azeroth which radiated on all the nations of the known world. Azeroth and all its grounds was devastated by the Horde at the time of the First War. After the death of the King Llane, the Seigneur Lothar dealt with the armies of Azeroth in rout and carried out the survivors in escape beyond the major Ocean, on the shore of Lordaeron. The King Terenas, sovereign of Lordaeron, agreed to support Azerothiens stateless people. The people of Azeroth were installed on the southern part of Lordaeron and made oath of honesty towards the Alliance. Valiant and aguerris, soldiers of the armies of Azeroth, which were formerly so powerful shouted revenge in the name of their fatherland.
