Ayman al-Zawahiri

Ayman al-Zawahiri (ايمنالظواهري in Arab) (June 19th 1951 -) is an important member, principal ideologist of the network Al-Qaida and in the past with the head of the paramilitary organization of the Islamic Jihad Egyptian. Al-Zawahiri is Médecin.

It is known under the names: Abou Mohammed, Abou Fatima, Mohammed Ibrahim, Abou Abdallah, Abou Al-Mu' iz, the doctor, the Professor, Nour, Oustaz, Abou Mohammed Nour AD-DIN, Abdel Mouaz (Abdel Moez, Abdel Mouez) and others Pseudonym S.

In 1998 it had amalgamated the Islamic Jihad as a preliminary Egyptian with Al-Qaida. According to testimonys of a former member of Al-Qaida, he worked for Al-Qaida since his beginning and was a framework of the Choura. He is often described like a “lieutenant” of the chief of Al-Qaida, Usama Bin Laden. It is allowed that Al-Zawahiri is the doctor of Bin Laden (suffering of renal complications, probably requiring Dialyze S).

History

Al-Zawahiri was born in a family from the middle-class with Maadi in Egypt, suburbs of the Cairo, and is a studious pupil. However, the events push it in a radical direction (probably the Guerre the Six Day old in 1967). At 14 years, it joined the Muslim brothers (Al-Ikhwan Al-Muslimin), the fundamentalist group Arab oldest, which is worth an arrest later to him one year. After the separation of the MAK, Al-Zawahiri joins Usama Bin Laden to organize group Al-Qaida.

In 1990, Al-Zawahiri returns to Egypt, where it continues to direct Islamic Jihad in a more radical direction, employing knowledge and tactics taught in Afghanistan. In 1997, it is held for person in charge of the massacre of 58 (or 67) foreign tourists in the Egyptian city of Louxor, for which it is condemned to died by Contumace in 1999 by an Egyptian military tribunal.

In 1998, it develops its sights in a text written with Usama Bin Laden under the title the world Islamic front against the Jews and the crusaders . This text constitutes an important step making it possible to widen its engagements with the planetary scales.

After the second War of Afghanistan, one loses the Al-Zawahiri trace.
