Aydın
Aydın is a town of Turkey, Préfecture of the Province of the same name located at the edge of the Aegean Sea (position: ).
The city is located in the ancient Lydie and is called during the hellenistic time Séleucie of the Meander . Under Rome, it takes the name of Caesarea then during the Byzantine period that of Tralles , one of the architect of Holy Sophie was born there Anthémios de Tralles.
