Axel Bauer

Axel Bauer is a Chanteur French born in on April 7th 1961 with Paris. His/her father, Frank Bauer, were one of the announcers of Free France and were beater of the jazzman Django Reinhardt. The history starts in 1983. A bad lot, badly shaved and equipped with leather with the feet to the head, type-setter, upsets the French pop scene with " Cargo" , a first noisy title. Jean-Baptiste Mondino, sign the first clip, which precisely illustrates Cargo of Night, with violence and darkness, all in black and white. Young French signs then with EMI for an International contract, being the first frenchy with being placed in London by the recording company. " New Seigneurs" , its first album leaves in the vats, proposing a dark and tormented environment, but success remains confidential. At the time of the four years which follow, nobody any more will hear of Axel, radio silence, it isolates himself to compose his new opus " Sentinelles" , which leaves in 1990, a second delivery, from which famous individual the " is extracted; Extinguish Lumière" , which will be success in 1992 (n°18 with the Top 50), starting again the sales of the album.

Success is thus of setting and Axel sets out again on the roads, accumulating concerts and festivals. But Axel Bauer withdraws another time, to return this time, seven years later with " simple Mortel" its album most personal, violent and esoteric. Individual the " Leave venir" gains a small success but the sales remain confidential.

" Nobody is perfect " from which the duet with Zazie " is resulting; With my place" and the individual title of the album leaves in 2001. This time the album is Disque of gold with 170.000 sold specimens (n°19 with the Signal albums) and " With my place" is sold with 800.000 specimens, Axel relights the light. In 2003, the first best off of the artist leaves, entitled " Désintégrale" (n°34 with the Signal albums). 2006 is the year of its return with a new Rock album/pop " Bad cowboy" with the realization Daniel Presley (Cali, Luke, Faith No more), but success is not really with go (n°79 with the Signal albums).
