Avventura
Avventura is a Film free - Italy N of Michelangelo Antonioni, left in 1960. First shutter of a trilogy ( the Eclipse , 1961, and the Night , 1962), it imposed Antonioni like one of the large Masters of cinematographic modernity.
Synopsis
Anna, idle wealthy heiress, is promised in marriage to Sandro, an architect. Whereas they go on a cruise in the Mediterranean accompanied by friends, Anna disappears during a stopover on a rocky small island. Research is organized, which brings closer Sandro de Claudia, the best friend of Anna. This research quickly becomes a pretext with their incipient love, and Sandro and Claudia become lovers. But during a reception where they go, Claudia surprises Sandro with a courtesan: it continues it until a deserted place, where it beseeches a forgiveness that she grants to him in silence.
