Avulsed

Avulsed is a group of Brutal death Spanish metal formed in 1992 with Madrid under the impulse of the singer Dave Rotten.

Biography

In 1991, after having finished its military service, Dave Rotten settles with Madrid and decides to found a group with some friends although none of them can really play of an instrument. Gradually, the formation is stabilized and the members start to repeat. The name of Avulsed is definitively selected in February 1992 and the group leaves its first demonstration, Embalmed in blood in October of the same year. In 1993, the group leaves a second demonstration Deformed beyond belief and gives its first concert. Avulsed continued to give concerts in Spain and left finally its first album Carnivoracity in May 1995. Since 1996 Avulsed starts to give concerts abroad and this allows its members, in addition to the exit of other albums, to acquire an important reputation in the scene Death metal underground.

Music

The music of Avulsed is brutal Death metal. It is rather fast, the rates/rhythms are heavy and hammered and the melody passages are extremely rare. The distinctive mark of this group is however the voice of Dave Rotten. This last indeed developed a quite particular technique enabling him to obtain a voice beacoup more serious and raucous that the majority of the other singers of death metal. The topics approached in the songs are as for them: death, the sex as well as the cannibalism, the whole being exploited with the second degree as that is mainly the case in the Death metal.
