Avoided Guy
Guy Avoided , initially abbot and general about Citeaux. He was already cardinal and legate of the Holy See in Germany, when he was named, in 1204,53e archbishop of Rheims by the pope Innocent III. By this nomination it became also even of France.
In 1205, the same pope assure him the privilege to crown the kings of France. He dies, in 1206, of the plague, in Liege, at the time of a mission as a legate and is buried in Citeaux.
