Avionics

The avionics is the electronic whole of the equipment S and Informatique S which helps with the piloting of the AƩronef S and the spacecraft S, namely:

  • radios and communication systems (UHF, VHF)
  • navigation systems (TACAN, VOR, Inertial unit GPS, , etc)
  • Radar S (anti-collision, weather, or of detection for the military aircrafts)
  • Autopilot
  • THEY for the landing by bad weather
etc

On the modern aircraft (Airbus A320, Boeing 777, Mirage 2000, F-16, etc), the avionics also includes/understands electric orders of flight: this system orders surfaces of action (shutters, ailerons, etc) of the plane according to the requests of the pilot, according to mathematical laws of piloting and by taking account of the capacities of the plane.

By analogy with the practices of aeronautics, the avionics gathers all that is electric, power, numerical, Logiciel, Capteur S and Actionneur S on board.
