Aviatyrannis

Aviatyrannis , which means " Tyrant with plumes" , is a Tyrannosauridae recently discovered. As its Latin name indicates it ( Aviatyrannis jurassica ), he lived at the time Jurassic, in current the Portugal.

He had feathers and was of small size (1,4 m). Its mode, like all Tyrannosauridae, was carnivorous, but being given its size, it nourished small animals, lizards like small mammals.
