Avenue McGill College
The which occurred McGill College is a North-South avenue of Montreal. It extends from the Place City-Marie in the south, until the Université McGill in north, in the district of City-Marie.

History
The McGill avenue was located inside the fortifications of Montreal in 1801, year when it was built. It is the police chief James McGill who gave his name to this avenue of prestige which envisaged to accommodate the head office of the company of the Large Trunk in 1889. One owes it with the American architect Richard Wright.
