Avari
In the work of J.R.R. Tolkien, the Avari were the Elfes which refused to follow Oromë to go to Valinor.
They remained of this fact in the surroundings of Cuiviénen, in the east of the Ground of the Medium, filled with wonder by the beauty at the grounds which had seen them awaking. They formed thus part of the Moriquendi, in other words Elves not having never known the light of the Two Trees. They were very discrete compared to the events of the Earth of the Medium, which made very obscure people of it.
