Avana
The avana is a Italian Cépage of black grapes.
Origin and geographical distribution
It comes from the north of Italy. It would be originating in the Pignerol area between Pinerolo and the Val in Suse.It is classified auxiliary type of vine in DOC. Pinerolese Ramie and Valsusa. It is classified recommended in Province of Turin in the area of the Piedmont. In 1998, it covered 69 ha.
