Auzouer-in-Touraine
Auzouer-in-Touraine is a common French, located in the department of Indre-et-Loire and the area Center.
Its inhabitants is called Auzouériens, Auzouériennes.
In the night of the 7 to the June 8th 1988 an explosion causes a fire in a factory of chemicals of Auzouer-in-Touraine. The water poured by the firemen to extinguish fire streams charged in chemicals in the Brenne, affluent of the Cisse which throws itself in the the Loire. Starting from the June 9th and during 10 days the town of Turns and five communes located on Right Bank of the the Loire, is nearly 20.000 people, are private of drinking water.
