Auzon

Auzon is a common French, chief town of Canton, at the border of the department of the Haute-Loire and Puy-de-Dôme, in the area Auvergne. The inhabitants are Auzonnais and étymologiquement Alzoniens, they carry “the eat-plum” pseudonym.

Auzon belongs to the Arrondissement of Brioude in the Second district of the Haute-Loire.
