Autonomous prefecture hani and yi of Honghe

The autonomous prefecture Hani and yi of Honghe (红河哈尼族彝族自治州; Pinyin: Hónghé hānízú yízú Zìzhìzhōu) is an administrative subdivision of the south-east of the province of the Yunnan in China. Its chief town is the town of Gejiu.

Administrative divisions

The autonomous prefecture hani and yi of Honghe exerts its jurisdiction on thirteen subdivisions - two city-counties, eight counties and three autonomous counties  :
  • the town of Gejiu - 个旧市 Gèjiù Shì   ;
  • the town of Kaiyuan - 开远市 Kāiyuǎn Shì   ;
  • the county of Mengzi - 蒙自县 Méngzì Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Lüchun - 绿春县 Lǜchūn Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Jianshui - 建水县 Jiànshuǐ Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Shiping - 石屏县 Shípíng Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Mile - 弥勒县 Mílè Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Luxi - 泸西县 Lúxī Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Yuanyang - 元阳县 Yuányáng Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Honghe - 红河县 Hónghé Xiàn   ;
  • the autonomous county miao, yao and dai of Jinping - 金平苗族瑶族傣族自治县 Jīnpíng miáozú yáozú dǎizú Zìzhìxiàn   ;
  • the autonomous county yao of Hekou - 河口瑶族自治县 Hékǒu yáozú Zìzhìxiàn   ;
  • the autonomous county miao of Pingbian - 屏边苗族自治县 Píngbiān miáozú Zìzhìxiàn .
