Autonomous prefecture Tibetan of Golog

The autonomous prefecture Tibetan of Golog (or Guoluo ) (Chinese simplified: 果洛藏族自治州; Pinyin: Guǒluò zàngzú Zìzhìzhōu; Tibetan: མགོ་ལོག་བོད་རིགས་རང་སྐྱོང་ཁུལ་ ; Transliteration Wylie: Mgo-log Bod-rigs row-skyong-khul) is an administrative subdivision of the province of the Qinghai in China.

Its surface is of: 76400  km ²  .

The population of the prefecture was estimated at: 130000 inhabitants in 2004.

Administrative subdivisions

The autonomous prefecture Tibetan of Golog exerts her jurisdiction on six counties  :
  • the county of Maqên - 玛沁县 Mǎqìn Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Baima - 班玛县 Bānmǎ Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Gadê - 甘德县 Gāndé Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Darlag - 达日县 Dárì Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Jigzhi - 久治县 Jiǔzhì Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Madoi - 玛多县 Mǎduō Xiàn .
