The autonomous prefecture Tibetan of Gannan (Chinese simplified: 甘南藏族自治州; Pinyin: Gānnán zàngzú Zìzhìzhōu; Tibetan: དཀར་ལྷོ་བོད་རིགས་རང་སྐྱོང་ཁུལ་ ; Transliteration Wylie: Dkar-lho Bod-rigs row-skyong-khul) is an administrative subdivision of the province of the Gansu in China.

Its surface is of: 40898 km ².

The population of the prefecture was estimated at: 680000 inhabitants in 2004 .

The autonomous prefecture Tibetan of Gannan exerts her jurisdiction on eight subdivisions - a city-county and seven counties  :
  • the town of Hezuo - 合作市 Hézuò Shì   ;
  • the county of Lintan - 临潭县 Líntán Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Jonê - 卓尼县 Zhuóní Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Zhugqu - 舟曲县 Zhōuqū Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Têwo - 迭部县 Diébù Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Maqu - 玛曲县 Mǎqū Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Luqu - 碌曲县 Lùqū Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Xiahe - 夏河县 Xiàhé Xiàn .
